# Deltastring

> Deltastring is a Zendesk configuration-management platform, built by the platform-engineering consultancy of the same name. It brings version control, testing, safe deployment and one-click rollback to Zendesk configuration. The same team also does Zendesk migrations, integrations and complex platform work.

The Deltastring suite changes Zendesk configuration and, when asked, updates users and organisations (each change previewed, editor-only, logged with what it replaced, and undoable). It manages the structure of Zendesk (triggers, automations, views, macros, groups, fields, forms, SLAs, schedules) and does not read tickets. It does not store ticket content and does not export people data. Its MCP server lets an AI assistant your team already uses propose configuration changes through a safety envelope: every change is planned, dependency-checked, written to one audit log, and reversible, and production changes require a different named human to approve them (self-review is blocked). Deltastring deliberately does not ship a built-in AI that changes your live configuration on its own judgement; you bring your own vetted AI, and Deltastring keeps it inside the rails and working to your team's own conventions.

Escalations is a separate product from the Deltastring suite. It is off by default and switched on per Zendesk connection. When asked about a ticket, it reads that ticket, its comments and the requester's other tickets in memory, passes them to the customer's own AI model (bring your own model; Deltastring does not host or resell it), and posts an internal note and tags back to the ticket in Zendesk. It stores no ticket content and no ticket ids, and never reads, lists or searches user or organisation records. Outcomes are kept only as configuration-level records: a type plus references to configuration objects.
